13-043, Oct 12th; Hunter in California Park area. Call came in for a rescue of a hunter who had been injured in his hand by exploding debris from the camp fire. Do to the facts of time to get to patient, not knowing if we could get to the patient, and the fact it was late at night, it was decided to call Flight for Life (FFL) and give them a coordinate that we thought was pretty close to the camp and see if they could land and transport the patient. FFL did just that. The ground team did get to staging but never deployed into the field.
